Terms of use
What to know before you use Two Cradles. By using the service you agree to the points below.
Nature of the service
Two Cradles is a simulation that draws imaginary lives from public statistics and design rules. Results are not predictions of anyone's lifespan, health, income, or future, and are not medical, financial, or legal advice.
Accuracy
We check sources for statistics and historical facts, but errors may remain. Event sizes, effects, and decision effects are design values. If you find an error, please tell us on the Contact page.
Sensitive content
Era events can involve heavy subjects such as war, disaster, and disease. We provide a start notice and a calm view, and you can stop at any time. Result cards never include sensitive events or personal notes.
Your responsibilities
- When sharing results, do not misrepresent them as anything other than a simulation.
- Do not send automated bulk requests or otherwise disrupt the service.
Copyright
The text, design, and code of this site belong to the operator. Statistics and map data follow their providers' terms, listed on the Data sources page. Share links and result cards may be freely used for personal, non-commercial sharing.
Limitation of liability and changes
The service is provided as is and, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from its use. The service and these terms may change without notice; the last-updated date on this page shows when.
